Development and Building Permits

Land Development:

We get the development permits for properties in the Greater Vancouver Area. With experience in many successful projects, we can help clients get the highest floor area ratio and the best design for their properties. Being a multi-disciplinary company, it helps clients complete the job much faster and more smoothly, with fewer discrepancies between drawings and less time needed to cross-check across the different disciplines’ drawings. We apply for Development Permits, Rezoning Permits, Development Variance Permits, and Subdivision Permits. Some sample projects are:

Building Permit - Certified Professional Program:

The Certified Professional (CP) program facilitates the issuance of building permits for new or existing buildings by allowing certified professionals to take on the full review and inspection role on behalf of the City. Under the CP permit process, permit issuance can be staged, allowing construction to start earlier than otherwise, an advantage to building owners wanting to expedite their projects.

We have Certified Professionals in our company who can apply for the permit and significantly expedite the process of getting it. Some of the projects that we did through the CP program are:

Tenant Improvement:

As a multidisciplinary consulting engineering corporation, we design many tenant improvement projects each year. Our company can design Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Suppression systems for tenant improvement projects. If the building is NOT finished yet (does not have an occupancy permit), but the commercial floors are finished, you can get your tenant improvement permit and start the work by having a certified professional.
